THE START

Welcome to Westcoast Sax, my name is Matt Lee (President and Founder). I started my professional music journey in 1998 performing as a solo saxophonist and have opened up for artists like Starship and Christopher Cross. In 2006, I was hired to play for Arnold Schwarzenegger... the coolest gig ever! In 2019, I became a Smooth Jazz Billboard Recording Artist with a #1 Radio Hit "One More Kiss". This song went #1 for 8 consecutive weeks on the national smooth jazz charts. Since 2000, I became well known for my expertise and knowledge in vintage saxophones. I sold vintage saxophones to shops like Roberto's, USA Horn, SaxQuest, and The Horn Connection.

I've been a driving force in the social media community creating 3 of the largest Facebook Saxophone Groups in the world! Through years of testing and playing almost every saxophone mouthpiece on the market, I decided to come up with my own unique designs from a player's perspective. With my new vision, I was able to improve the consistency, performance, and playability of a saxophone mouthpiece. In the Summer of 2014, Westcoast Sax entered the saxophone accessory market developing new products like the Buzz Saxophone Neck Screw, MoFo, MOAM, Mood Swing, Private Stock, High Roller, 777 Series, Soul Machine, Groovin and Throwback Saxophone Mouthpiece Models for Soprano, Alto, and Tenor.
